The music program at Southeast Polk has over 180 students participate every year at the high school level, across 6 different bands, and prides itself on being inclusive to all students.
The Southeast Polk Band Program excels in developing well-rounded musicians through comprehensive instruction and performance opportunities in marching band, wind ensemble, symphonic band, and jazz band. With a focus on musical excellence, discipline, and teamwork, Southeast Polk Band program fosters leadership, dedication, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

➤ 2nd ANNUAL COMMUNITY IMPACT PERFORMANCE: OCTOBER 9
SEP is partnering with Best Buddies to present a performance intended to celebrate community and raise money for SEP Best Buddies.
The Marching Rams will perform their show, cadences, and a variety of music, Best Buddies will present about their program and we will end the night with an opportunity for family members to march with their students on the field. After, the audience is invited to stick around to take informal photos with students/props in full uniform, under the stadium lights.
Let’s pack the stands to celebrate all the students and volunteers that made this season a success while supporting a wonderful organization! Spread the word! PROMOTIONAL FLYER

➤ HOME FOOTBALL GAME - SENIOR NIGHT: OCTOBER 23
SENIORS & SENIOR PARENTS: Fill out THIS FORM by October 17th so you/your student gets recognized at the start of the game. Please see the game itinerary below for details about where/when senior recognition will take place.
Marching Band Senior Banners are in the process of being printed. These banners cost $25 and we ask that, as able, each senior turns in $25 to cover the cost of these banners for our 37 seniors!
Each senior will be provided two tickets to the game to share with family members. Students with step-parent(s) can request an additional ticket.
Any questions regarding senior recognition/tickets should be directed towards the activity office.

➤ INSTRUMENT RENTAL FEES
SEP Instrument Rental fees are now in Infinite Campus. Please pay these fees at your earliest convenience. Contact Mrs. Meunier with any questions or concerns.
Woodwind/Brass/Percussion - $75 per year for one instrument rental (this is the set fee for percussion students to use all of our equipment.)
$35 per year for each additional instrument rented.

➤ PRAIRIE MEADOWS COMMUNITY IMPACT PERFORMANCE
Congrats to Jazz One on an outstanding performance at Prairie Meadows last Friday (9/18)! There were lots of compliments on the professionalism of the students and their level of quality! Congrats to all!
In exchange for this performance, Prairie Meadows donated $1,000 to the band boosters!
