Band Update 10/19/25
Hello Band Families,
The marching season has come to an end. Our Community Impact performance last night was an outstanding evening full of amazing parents, happy students and wonderful contributions to our Caring Hands Outreach Center. A HUGE thank you goes out to Prairie Meadows for seeing our band program as worthy of receiving a $60,000 grant for new and MUCH needed band instruments. The 1st annual community impact event could not have gone any better. THANK YOU to everyone who attended, donated and took on the challenge of marching a few sets with the band!

BAND EXTRAVAGANZA CONCERT - Tuesday, October 21
It’s finally here, the concert everyone loves and enjoys! Our Band Extravaganza concert is this Tuesday evening. It starts at 7:00pm. Below is important information for everyone to know.
IMPORTANT: Marching band uniforms will be returned to their uniform bags at the end of our performance. ALL PERSONAL ITEMS MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE LEAVING FOR THE NIGHT. WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ITEMS LEFT IN THE GARMENT BAGS.
6:15pm - 10-12 student report time. Wind Ensemble students should come to the concert in their uniforms. Please remind your child, if they are in the Wind Ensemble, to bring their uniforms home tomorrow or Tuesday.
Freshmen marching students should report directly to the auditorium at 6:50pm and sit in the band
seating area to watch the SB & WE performances. At the conclusion of the WE portion of the concert,
freshmen may watch Jazz One play their 1st two tunes and then they should report immediately to the
band hallway to grab their uniform and put it on in room S123. IMPORTANT: We ask that they do not
come early and hang out in the band hallway. The logistics of this concert require A LOT of moving
parts so hallways will NEED to be clear of extra bodies. Thank you for reiterating this with your
freshman student.
6:25pm - all Symphonic Band students should be on stage ready for warm up. All Wind Ensemble students
who are NOT in Symphonic Band should report to room S122, in their assigned seating for warm up.
6:35pm - Auditorium doors will open for audience entrance.
7:00pm - Concert starts and performances will be in the following order:
Symphonic Band
Wind Ensemble
Jazz One - this performance will take place in the commons area where there will be some
refreshments to enjoy while listening.
Marching Band
The expectation is that students will stay for the entire night of performances. We stress proper audience etiquette with our students. Here is a link to the things we ask from our audience members. Concert Audience Etiquette. At the end of the night, we will want students to help with clearing the stage taking everything back to the band rooms. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us at the emails listed below. Thank you for your advanced help with making this night go smoothly.
