Band Boosters

The Band Boosters are an organization whose purpose is to aid and support the band program at Southeast Polk High School. We are seeking band parents to join this organization and help our program grow and prosper.


Opportunities

The following opportunities are open to any parent/guardian interested in helping the band program:

Officer Structure

President

The Booster President oversees all aspects of the booster program including committees and coordinators (uniform, volunteer, equipment), presides at meetings, and works directly with the directors to plan agendas.

The president delegates duties to booster officers, committees, and coordinators to ensure the smooth running of the booster club.


Vice President

The Booster Vice President assists the President in overseeing the running of the booster group and fills in for the President when they are unable to preside at meetings.


Secretary

The Booster Secretary taken minutes at each meeting, submits minutes for approval, and prepares and publishes them on the band website. The secretary takes care of correspondence on behalf of the boosters.


Treasurer

The Booster Treasurer is responsible for maintaining the booster budget, signing purchase orders as presented by the directors, and keeping accurate financial records.

Meetings

Please see the band calendar for booster meeting dates. All meetings are at 6:30pm in the SEP High School Band Room S122, and run between 45 minutes to an hour in length.
